What you can expect
Eat, drink and enjoy the Adelaide Hills and Hahndorf with this awesome Hideaway Tour! On the scenic ride out of the city, you will be amazed by the area’s beauty, especially atop the spectacular Mount Lofty lookout. Indulge in a fine wine and food tasting at your first cellar door visit, followed by a German-style feast at a pub in Hahndorf, but you've been warned, the delights do not end at lunch. In the afternoon, treat yourself to several more wine tastings at various wineries, as well as some tastings of Woodside cheese, fresh chocolates from the Melba’s factory and strawberries from the Beerenberg’s farm. This tour is a day of eating, drinking, sightseeing and good times with good company.
This all-encompassing tasting tour includes a scenic journey through the Adelaide Hills from the comfort of a luxury vehicle. Enjoy the views while learning about the area’s German influence, its wineries and its foods from your friendly and knowledgeable guide. This full day tour operates in groups of two to eight people, providing you with an intimate experience. After the gourmet snacks, sweets and many glasses of wine on the Adelaide Hills & Hanhdorf Hideaway Tour, you will be fully satisfied!

- Tours depart on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 9am and return at approximately 5pm
- Min 2 people required for the tour to go ahead. Max 10 in a group
- Cancellations made up to 7 days before the tour will not be charged
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the tour will forfeit 80% of the full fare
- Cancellations within 24 hours will not be offered a refund and will be charged the full fare
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience

The excellent tour delivered by Inez
The excellent tour delivered by Inez. The tour still ran when there was only two of us and the guide/driver was more than willing to accommodate changes in food options and was even flexible with the itinerary. Inez was very friendly, informative and suggested tailoring the tour due to the fact there was only two of us. We visited three wineries, had a cheese tasting, a great German lunch of sausages accompanied by mustard and sauerkraut with a local wine followed by a German cheesecake. We had plenty of time to wander through the fantastic shops at Hahndorf and visited Mt Lofty lookout, Beerenberg and even stopped in Stirling for Red Cacao for a coffee and chocolates.
