A fantastic way to get to know Auckland. Drivers were friendly and helpful. The audio commentary was good but we were lucky and at one point our driver (the 'Pink Lady') gave us an additional personal commentary including insights from her time driving this tour. Buses are clean and provide a good view of the sights, Highly recommend this tour to start your Auckland experience!
Every time we go on hop on hop off buses we find that are really excellent. the one that we went on in auckland was fantastic. commentary of the first bus that we took from the port was excellent. driver gave a really good explanation of everything

- First bus departs at 9 am from Downtown Auckland stop (Stop 1)
- Last bus departs at 4 pm from the Downtown Auckland stop (Stop 1)
- Last tour terminates at 5 pm at the Downtown Auckland stop (Stop 1)
- Sumer Bonus Blue Tour Timetable:
- First bus departs at 9.30 am from Auckland Museum stop (Stop 5)
- Last bus departs at 3.30 pm from Auckland Museum stop (Stop 5)
- Last tour terminates at 4.20 pm at Auckland Museum stop (Stop 5)
- Are you staying in the CBD? The first bus from Stop 2 departs at 9.05 am, and the first bus from Stop 3 departs at 9.10 am.
- Note: Timings may vary due to traffic conditions
- Pass is valid for 24 or 48 hours dependant on the option purchased
- You will need to visit either Stop 1 (on Customs Street East) or Stop 2 (outside the Sky Tower on Victoria Street West) to validate your ticket with our Street Sales Ambassadors after you start your tour.
- After this, you can hop on and off at any stop along the tour route.
- Our buses are a distinctive bright yellow with Auckland Explorer Bus signage.
- On busy cruise ship days, we may add extra buses to the service that aren’t in our usual branding, but they will be displaying Auckland Explorer Bus signs in the window.
- A child is defined as anyone from the ages of 0 to 14 years. Passengers aged 15 or over are defined as adults.
- Our usual yellow buses are wheelchair accessible – sometimes we may use extra buses in times of higher demand, which may not be wheelchair accessible.
- Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on the day of tour
- For your information, complete Tour Operator Information including contact details is included on your tour voucher
