A paradise for hikers and nature lovers, the island offers plenty of bush walks and tours for a full day of adventure. Choose to follow the popular Summit Track as it winds through the lava fields and lush native forest, ending on the mountains peak. Or take the side walk, guiding you through the mysterious lava caves, best to bring a flashlight for this. Whatever you decide to spend your day exploring, know that the return trip in the comfortable ferry is scheduled. The Rangitoto ferry is a convenient and quick way to get over to the island hassle-free.

- Departs Auckland daily at 10.30am, 12.15pm plus on weekdays at 9.30am, on weekends and public holidays at 9.15am
- Departs Rangitoto Island daily at 12.45pm, 2.30pm, plus on weekdays at 3.30pm and on weekends at 4pm

- The ferry ride is 25 minutes in duration.
- The ferry departs from Pier 13, Downtown Ferry Terminal, 117 Quay Street, Auckland 1010
- Leaving Rangitoto Island from the ferry terminal on the Southside of the island

- Customers must travel on the time and date that has been booked and displayed on the ticket
- Please note a return ticket from the island needs to be booked separately
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no-shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
