Your journey begins at Hoffnungsthal Valley with a warm welcome and safety briefing, before lifting off on a scenic 15‑minute flight over the stunning Barossa Ranges, offering breathtaking views of vineyards and rolling countryside below.
Touching down at the historic Kies Family Wines estate, you’ll be personally welcomed by 5th and 6th generation family members and invited behind the scenes to experience authentic Barossa hospitality. Explore the estate’s old Shiraz vines and learn about their sustainable, minimal intervention practices, followed by a guided tour of the state‑of‑the‑art winery and insights into the region’s rich winemaking history.
Enjoy an exclusive tasting of premium, single‑vineyard wines among French and American oak barrels, perfectly paired with a Barossa produce platter. Then settle in for a relaxed two‑course lunch at the Kies café, taking in sweeping 180‑degree views of the Barossa Ranges, accompanied by a complimentary glass of wine each.
Once your experience concludes, reboard your waiting helicopter for a scenic return flight over the Barossa Goldfields and the iconic Whispering Wall—bringing to a close a truly immersive, elevated food and wine experience.

- 10am - 4pm with our last flight at 3:30pm

- The helicopters can get quite hot during the Aussie summer months and cooler during the winter months, so dress comfortably.
- If you plan to take photographs we recommend darker colour’s to reduce any window reflections.
- Ladies please wear flatter shoes.
- Hats, bags or any loose clothing are not allowed to be worn in or around the helicopters as they can fly up into the rotors and damage the aircraft. We will be happy to hold any hats or bags for you until you return from your tour.
- We encourage you to bring your phone, camera, or movie camera to help you remember your fabulous time at Barossa Helicopters.
- WEATHER POLICY
- Barossa Helicopters reserves the right to change flights due to weather conditions or other operational considerations. The pilot’s decision is final regardless of the occasion
- WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS
- Individual passenger weight is maximum 130kg, All up combined maximum passenger weight is 270kg per flight
- Barossa Helicopters base is non-smoking venue
- CHILDREN
- Children need to be minimum 100cm to fly and sit on their own seat
- CANCELLATION POLICY
- No Shows and Bookings that cancel within 24 hours of booked time, will forfeit the cost of the entire booking.
- No charge for cancellation outside of 24 hours
- Full refund will be made available to customers in the event of a cancellation of the flight by Barossa Helicopters Pty Ltd due to adverse weather or any other unforeseen event.

- Please leave your pets at home
- Our business is on a working farm with vineyards, livestock and our own pets and due to biosecurity protocols we don't allow outside pets.
- ONLY Service dogs are allowed but they CANNOT fly.
- If you need to reschedule your flight, contact us with as much notice as possible. More than 48 hours’ notice: No cancellation fee. Within 48 hours of flight time: 100% of the booking cost will be forfeited. These experiences involve confirmed third-party reservations and catering commitments. Full refund will be made available to customers in the event of a cancellation of the flight by Barossa Helicopters Pty Ltd due to adverse weather or any other unforeseen event.
