What you can expect
Bike through heathlands and open forests on route to the dramatic Hanging Rock in the Blue Mountains on a self-guided journey. You'll be supplied with everything you need including bikes, helmets and a map.
For those who love a bit of exhilaration and nature, this mountain biking adventure allows you to get active outdoors whilst admiring magnificent views. Meet the crew in Blackheath to be set up with your bike and safety equipment as well a map, puncture kit, trail info and bike handling tips from a pro. Once kitted out, you will embark on the Burramoko Ridge fire trail for an awe-inspiring experience through the Blue Mountains. The Burramoko cycle trail will lead you along a ridge to an impressive rocky bluff. Wind through heathlands, open forests and marvel at dramatic views on route to Baltzers lookout, in search of Hanging Rock.

- Use of a current electric mountain e-Bike - Merida Big 7/9 300se
- Australian approved helmet
- Bike set up and instructions
- Trail info and bike handling tips from an expert
- A puncture repair kit (tube, pump, levers)
- Use of gel padded gloves

- Accidental Bike Insurance (does not cover loss, abuse or damage to electrics/battery/motor)

- Wear shoes that are good for riding and walking
- Bring snacks and drinking water. Pack extra water, recommend 1L
- Backpack to carry BYO first aid kit (recommended), clothing, food and water
- The minimum age is 12 years. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a paying parent or guardian
- An average level of fitness is required for this 16km ride with a few steep inclines
- Suitable for beginners (basic bike handling skills) to advanced riders
- You will be required to sign a disclaimer and terms of condition form prior to departure
- Participants must weigh less than 115kg to participate and be taller than 147cm
- Consumption of alcohol or smoking is strictly prohibited
- Light rain and wind will not cancel your adventure
- Other ride options are available if needed and or wanted
- Weather checks are done the day prior and on the morning of the activity
- Terrain: Graded fire trail
- Trail surface ranges from rocky, gravel, sandy, clay, water bars
- Low-average fitness required
