Whether you're transitioning from indoor climbing or new to bouldering, this experience is the right place to start. Your qualified guide will teach you the essential skills for outdoor bouldering, including mat placement, spotting, and route finding. You'll start on beginner-friendly problems and progress at your own pace. White Rock is the perfect spot, offering the highest concentration of sandstone bouldering in South East Queensland. With routes for all skill levels, you'll experience the natural beauty of the White Rock Conservation Area while tackling challenges and enjoying a memorable day outdoors!

Time
  • Start times vary, with sessions starting at 7:30am, 10:30am, 12pm or 1pm. Check your session date for the time that you are booking
  • Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your activity start time
Duration
  • This experience is four hours in duration
Departure Location
  • This experience departs from the Paperbark Flats Picnic Area located in the White Rock Conservation Area at 265-317 School Rd, Redbank Plains QLD 4301
What To Bring
  • Backpack suggested (20-30 litres to carry personal gear)
  • 2-3 litres of water
  • Sunscreen
  • Hat
  • Sunglasses
  • Climbing shoes (if you own them)
  • Socks for climbing shoes (if you require them)
  • Clothes that allow freedom of movement (long hair to be tied back)
  • Jacket/jumper if required
  • Enclosed shoes (e.g. runners or hiking boots)
Additional Information
  • Wheelchair access is not available
  • In the event of wet weather, the session will be rescheduled. Please note that wet weather in the lead up to the activity date may also result in a reschedule due to the delicate nature of the sandstone at White Rock when wet
  • Please keep the provider informed of any changes to the numbers in your party
  • A reduction in numbers will incur charges for each missing person
  • An increase in numbers may not always be possible
  • To avoid disappointment, notify the provider of changes as early as possible
  • It is possible for another participant to take your place if the initial participant cannot make the session
Terms And Conditions
  • Minimum age is 8 years
  • All participants (including spotters) must complete a waiver prior to beginning the activity
  • Participants under 18 years of age will require a parent or guardian to sign their waiver
  • Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible guardian for the duration of the activity
  • Moderate level of fitness is required
  • Due to the nature of this activity, it is not suitable for participants with any of the following medical conditions to participate: neck, back and heart disorders, high/low blood pressure, recent surgery/illness/injury and other adverse medical conditions
  • Not recommended during pregnancy
  • Jewellery to be removed or taped over (to avoid entanglements in ropes and devices)
  • Loose jewellery (e.g. bracelets and necklaces) should be removed or secured
  • Rings to be removed or taped over
  • Body piercings to be removed or taped
Cancellation Policy
  • Change your booking up to 72 hours before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 72 hours of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no-shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
