I’ve come aboard Ballena each time I’ve been in Broome and each time has been better than the last! They have a great selection of cocktails, and the best canapés. Would recommend to anyone visiting Broome!
What you can expect
Set sail along Broome's stunning coastline on a three hour sunset cruise, one of the most relaxed ways to soak up the magic of the Kimberley. Your afternoon begins with a courtesy bus pickup from your accommodation and a short town tour on the way to the beach, where you will wade out to a waiting tender and board for an afternoon on the water.
Once aboard, settle in on deck with a complimentary beer or wine and watch Broome's famous coast slip by. Cool off with a dip in the boom net, then graze your way through four rounds of locally sourced canapes as the crew keep the good vibes flowing. Cocktails, beer and wine are available from the fully licensed bar, so you can toast the sunset in style. As the sky turns gold over the Indian Ocean, you will see exactly why Broome's sunsets are the stuff of legend. Perfect for couples, friends and anyone chasing that golden hour glow.

- This experience departs from Cable Beach in Broome. Complimentary return transfers from your Broome accommodation are available, or you can make your own way to the departure point. Please advise your pickup address at the time of booking.
- Sun protection including a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen
- Swimmers and a towel
- Shorts or a skirt and sandals
- Thongs or easy to remove shoes
- Participants must be 18 years and over as this experience involves alcohol; photo ID may be required
- This experience is not suitable for wheelchairs or participants with limited mobility
- A minimum of 15 participants is required for the cruise to operate, with a maximum of 36 participants on board
- Gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options are available; please note any allergies or dietary requirements when booking
- No BYO alcohol is permitted
- Name changes can be made at no additional cost
- In the event of dangerous weather, the experience provider will notify participants as soon as possible to arrange a refund or change of booking
- Bookings are essential
- Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at the time of booking.
- Upon completion of the purchase, please print the voucher and present it on the day of the experience.

Had a fantastic time on the sunset cruise tour!
The crew are friendly and hospitable and help you enjoy the afternoon. The net swimming was super fun - even if getting on and off was inelegant 😂 Saw turtles and manta rays from a distance and even a dolphin played across the setting sun.
