Certainly saw some vibrant corals that are being specially grown so as to replenish the Southern Great Barrier Reef. Well worth the visit. Small corals are also available for purchase along with other local products. When in Bundy doing the rounds head out to the Bundaberg Marina on the Burnett River to see Monsoon Aquatics Corals, certainly suitable for all ages.
What you can expect

Get up close with more than 200 coral species from around the Australian coastline, watch live coral feeding, and see reef restoration in action. - Please use Buss Street to access the marina, as Wharf Drive near the Bulk Sugar Terminal is restricted
- Note that some older GPS systems may direct you incorrectly to the terminal
- This experience takes place at 145 Buss Street, Burnett Heads, QLD 4670.

- Photography is encouraged during the tour; a loan lens for your phone camera will be provided to each group
- Closed-toe, non-slip shoes are required for the tour, as the shed floors may be wet

It was increasingly informative finding out how the corals are farmed and shipped all over the world.
As well as learning how their program for rejuvenating the Great barrier reef is being actioned. Beautiful corals abound. Nikky, our guide is super enthusiastic about their mission and it really showed in our tour of the facility.
