What you can expect
Jump in the cockpit with an experienced pilot and learn how to fly on this 60 minute pilot training session in the Sunshine Coast. This introductory flight is the perfect way to make your first step towards a future pilot’s license or potential aviation career.
Taking place from the Caloundra Aerodrome, aspiring pilots will begin by watching a flight briefing video before taking to the skies. As you climb to 2,000 ft step up and take the controls of a modern Sling aircraft and learn how to fly. You can then choose to fly for the remainder of the flight or sit back and admire the spectacular views of the Sunshine Coast beaches and hinterland from above as a passenger.

What you need to know
- A 60 minute trial introductory flight for 1 person in a recreational aircraft with a professional pilot accompanying you
- All equipment
- 60 minute introductory flight to learn the basics of flying
- Includes all equipment & training
- Flying time can be logged towards your license
- Flights take place most days, please give your preferred date and time when booking and we will try our best to accommodate you.
- To have the most chance of being able to fly on your preferred date and time, please book 5-7 days in advance.
- This experience departs from Caloundra Aerodrome at 20 Pathfinder Dr, Caloundra QLD 4551.
- Cancellation policy: Booked flights can be rescheduled without penalty, up to 24 hours before the flight. Cancellations on the day will only be accepted due to sickness or emergencies and must be made by sending an SMS to 0410496438. Vouchers are transferable.
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
