Meet your new fluffy mates at Blackwattle Alpaca Farm near Canberra on this laid-back two-hour experience, made for two. You’ll kick things off with a 30-minute scenic stroll around the farm and down to the dam, walking side by side with your very own alpaca or llama. Then it’s time to get hands-on with a 30-minute feeding session, where you can pat, cuddle and feed the friendly herd while snapping some seriously cute, heart-melting pics.
After your alpaca adventure, wander over to your private picnic spot and settle in for a dreamy one-hour boho picnic. Sink into comfy chairs, cushions and blankets, surrounded by flowers, and tuck into a grazing platter for two packed with sweet and savoury treats. Enjoy tea, coffee or a soft drink as you soak up the sunshine, the vibes and the company - an easy going, feel-good day out that’s just begging to be shared.

Departure Location
- This experience is located at Blackwattle Alpaca Farm at 315 Patemans Lane, Murrumbateman NSW 2582
- Follow the Barton Highway until you reach the Euroka Ave turn-off. Follow Euroka Ave right to the end. Take a right at the T-intersection onto Patemans Lane. The farm is located at the very end of Patemans Lane (do not take the Gooda Creek Rd turn-off). Follow the gravel driveway and park at the Farm Shop Carpark. Please park in the carpark and not on the grass as the alpacas graze on the grass

- The tour runs weather permitting. Tours are able to go ahead in light to moderate rain. Wet weather tour options are available for these conditions
- Please advise of any dietary requirements or food allergies at the time of booking
- The experience provider must be notified of any disability that may prevent someone from understanding directions, could result in unpredictable behaviour, or that limits a person's mobility
- Participants must be able to understand and follow any directions that limits a persons mobility
- At the provider's discretion, tours may be rescheduled or cancelled for safety reasons such as moderate to heavy rain and/or high winds. Guests will be notified, by email and/or phone, if their tour needs to be rescheduled or cancelled. Where rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be offered if the provider cancels the tour
- Please notify the experience provider of any changes in the number of participants in your booking 48 hours prior to your tour
- This is not a private experience and is open to all members of the public
- Guest are able to visit the farm for free. Participation in the event/brunch/tour requires a booking
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no-shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
