Dive into a delicious day on the Hawkesbury River with this hands-on oyster farm experience. Starting with a 60-minute cruise along the stunning Hawkesbury River, where you glide through calm waters and learn how its pristine conditions created the perfect environment for Sydney Rock, Pacific, and Akoya pearl oysters. You will visit the farm's saltwater paddocks and discover the process of sustainable oyster farming, from hatchery to harvest, while learning how these shellfish help support the environment.
Back on land, it's time for a 30-minute guided tasting where you'll explore the distinct flavours of the three unique oyster varieties, freshly shucked before your eyes. To top it off, guests receive a five-dollar discount on a Broken Bay Pearl Farm shucking knife, perfect for putting your newly learned shucking skills into practice at home.
