This half day cruise departs from Main Wharf, Goolwa near Adelaide. Begin the cruise with a delicious lunch of cold meats and salads and complimentary tea and coffee before cruising out of the Goolwa Barrage through the lock into the Coorong National Park to view the mouth of the River Murray. As you cruise by, listen to the commentary by the captain and enjoy the sights of the pristine and undisturbed sand dunes and bird life of Coorong. When you arrive at the Younghusband Peninsula, disembark and enjoy a short guided walk through the sand dunes and hear about the cockling industry, Aboriginal history and the local flora and fauna. We can highly recommend this amazing boat trip. Great experience with sensitive and valuable insights into Indigenous history and culture for this important area. The service was fantastic with a delicious lunch and afternoon tea. The walk to the ocean, to see the midden and hear the story of some aspects of Aboriginal culture was great!
