Get ready for a full day of wildlife wonder at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary! Explore a lush rainforest with 27 hectares full of iconic Aussie animals, including koalas and kangaroos, which you can get close to and even feed as well. On top of that, make sure not to miss the daily bird shows and interactive exhibits, perfect for both kids and parents.

Also included is the TreeTop Challenge! Take things to new heights on one of Australia’s biggest ropes courses! Soar through the treetops on the Croc Shock zipline, tackle ninja-style obstacles and conquer over 100 challenges spread across seven courses, including the Gold Coast’s first-ever black diamond high ropes course.

Great for all ages and fitness levels, this action-packed day will blend nature, animals, and adrenaline into one unforgettable experience.

Itinerary
  • 30 minute induction and harnessing process before the first TreeTop course
  • Spend two and a half hours to three and a half hours exploring the TreeTop Challenge
  • Head down to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
Operating Hours
  • Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is open Tuesday to Sunday from 9am–4pm
  • TreeTop Challenge sessions are at 9.30am and 1pm (every half hour during school holidays, except 12pm–12.30pm)
Duration
  • This is a full day experience, please allow at least four hours for the sanctuary and two to three hours for the TreeTop Challenge.

What To Bring
  • Comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes
  • Water bottle and snacks
  • Weather-appropriate gear (hat, sunscreen, raincoat)
  • Enclosed shoes and hair ties (mandatory for the TreeTop Challenge)
Terms And Conditions
  • A waiver consent form must be completed prior to climbing
  • Pre-existing injuries could be worsened by conducting the activity
  • You must not climb if you have heart conditions, a recent surgery, chronic dislocations or are pregnant
  • Please consult a staff member if you have anaphylaxis, asthma or diabetes
  • A moderate level of fitness is required for the TreeTop Challenge
  • Courses are designed to cater for all levels of experience, beginner to expert
  • For Adventure Parks, children must be able to reach 160cm (centre of the palm) with both hands up and feet flat
  • Participants who can reach 180cm can attempt our Advanced and Expert courses
  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult ticket
  • Children under 18 require a parent/adult to sign the consent form
  • We highly recommend all children climbing with an adult
  • Not suited for children under eight or who do not reach the minimum height requirement
  • Long hair must be tightly tied back
  • Spectator pass is required by those wanting to observe friends/family doing the course
  • Groups of less than 30 people, can be scheduled into any available session
  • Groups of more than 30 people (up to 250 persons), are scheduled as 40 people every 30 minutes
Cancellation Policy
  • Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
