Discover the calm waters of the Nerang River on a 90 minute guided kayak tour through the heart of Surfers Paradise. Meet your local guide at Budds Beach and you will be paddling within minutes, with no experience needed and all equipment provided. As you glide along the river, the Surfers Paradise skyline rises on one side while some of the Gold Coast's most impressive waterfront homes line the other.
Your guide points out the wildlife along the way, from herons to cormorants and other waterbirds that frequent this sheltered stretch. The highlight is Macintosh Island, a peaceful green reserve where resident peacocks, swans and geese are so used to visitors they often wander right down to the water's edge. It is an unexpected pocket of nature in the middle of one of Australia's busiest holiday destinations. Calm, sheltered and suitable for all ages and fitness levels, this is a relaxed and scenic way to see Surfers Paradise from the water.

- Not suitable for pregnant women or participants with serious back or neck injuries
- Non swimmers are welcome as life jackets are worn at all times on the water
- Please arrive 10 minutes before your chosen departure time
- This tour runs rain or shine and will be rescheduled in the event of severe weather
