Amazing! Everything was perfect. Well set up and planned. The pilot and guides were so helpful, accommodating and went above and beyond for all guests. The hot air balloon was fantastic, so peaceful and calm. I was thinking with 20 other people it was going to be packed but was great.
What you can expect
Experience the romance and wonder of floating over the Scenic Rim on a Classic Gold Coast Hinterland Hot Air Balloon flight. Begin the day with an early morning hotel transfer, arriving at the pre-dawn launch site. Enjoy the impressive spectacle of balloons being inflated at dawn before taking flight with mesmerising views of rolling hills and open fields complete with a mind-blowing backdrop of the rising sun and waking wildlife. With views of the sweeping hinterland in one direction and the Gold Coast skyline scattered with towering buildings in the opposite.
After experienced pilots gently touch down, you'll be driven a short distance to an exclusive vineyard and be treated to a delicious spread of fresh pastries and fruits, sizzling bacon and eggs, cereals, juice and of course, a glass of bubbles to toast the incredible morning. At the winery, you'll also receive the gift of a tasting and a bonus alpaca walk and feed experience to complete the day.

- Pick up between 3.50 and 4.30am, varying seasonally and with your location and concludes between 9.45 and 10.30am.
- The hot air balloon flight is 40 minutes to one hour in duration, depending on the winds.
- This experience includes pick up from accommodation in Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Main Beach or meet at Nerang or Canungra. Please advise your address at the time of booking.

- Children three years and over are permitted to fly and need to have a ticket
- Children up to the age of 12 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult on the balloon flight
- Children 13 to 17 years old can travel on the balloon flight by themselves, but must be accompanied by a responsible adult for the rest of the tour, including bus transfers
- Passengers flying must be able to climb into the basket unaided
- Please note the side of the basket is approximately 1.2 metres high with two footholds for passengers to use like a ladder
- The experience provider will not carry passengers who have participated in a scuba dive the night before their balloon flight
- The experience provider will not carry pregnant passengers
- Passengers with medical conditions should check their suitability to fly prior to booking
- The experience provider recommends that disabled persons seek medical advice before participating
- Passengers will not be permitted to fly if their judgement is impaired by alcohol, drugs, or prescription medicine
- Please note the duration of the flight depends on the winds
- In the case of windy, wet or foggy weather the flight may be cancelled at the pilot's discretion
- Let the experience provider know if you require weather information prior to the balloon ride
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- It is highly recommended to reconfirm your booking on arrival to the Gold Coast and confirm your hotel pick up departure and pick up time. For your information, complete Tour Operator Information including contact details are included on your tour voucher
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on the day of the tour. Vouchers presented on a mobile device are also accepted

What an amazing experience. The staff were all so engaging and friendly. Our bus driver, Kelly was fun and awesome and our balloon driver, Stuart did an amazing job. The landing didn't go as planned (we ended up in a locked paddock) which just added to the adventure! I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who wants to tick this incredible experience off their bucket list!
