An excellent outing with a delicious lunch
The river cruise was very relaxing and informative. Feeding the pelicans and other birds was a highlight. Our lunch was delicious with top quality prawns, cheese and cold meats. The 2 staff members were very attentive. It was so nice seeing the Tweed River from the boat. I highly recommended this outing.

Beautiful day on the boat, staff were genuinely very lovely, super helpful and informative. Our lunches were lovely, nice variety of food on the platters and plenty of prawns! I took my mum for her 70th birthday and she thoroughly enjoyed the stunning views, the birds, the dolphins and turtles.
What you can expect
Enjoy a relaxing 3 hour scenic Tweed River cruise through sugar cane fields and sub-tropical rainforest with a scrumptious locally sourced lunch. It’s hard to imagine that an unspoilt and largely undiscovered picturesque region lies on the southern doorstep of the Gold Coast, but this is exactly what the Tweed Valley has to offer. This cruise highlights the diverse ecosystem of the Tweed Heads area (bordering the QLD and NSW states) and is the only eco-certified rainforest cruise on the Gold Coast.

- This experience is approx. 3 hours in duration.
- Please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure for check-in and boarding
- This experience takes place in Tweed Heads, the gate way to the Northern Rivers of NSW.
- Tweed Heads is located at the southern end of the Gold Coast: - 10 minutes from the Gold Coast Airport - 45 minutes from Surfers Paradise - 50 minutes from Byron Bay - 1.5 hour from Brisbane
- Casual clothing and comfortable footwear are recommended

- A minimum of 15 passengers is required to operate this tour
- This is an all-weather tour; we still operate when it rains
- Captains Tip: watch out for the resident dolphins Kingy and Herbie
- Please advise any dietary requirements at the time of booking
- A licensed bar is on board. Participants must be 18 years and older to consume alcohol; photo ID may be required

Cruise and commentary were good
Cruise and commentary were good. Morning tea was nice with freshly brewed cuppas. BBQ lunch pretty ordinary, sausages cheap, steak grisly and salads were pretty tasteless. Seafood looked good and feedback from others on that was positive. Overall a pleasant experience.
