What you can expect
After being fitted out with your e-bike, you'll be transferred to the start of your adventure at the Black Barn Winery. With Te Mata Estate and Akarangi very close by, you may want to treat your palate to a morning wine tasting before setting off on the 16 km journey. The limestone cycle trail hugs the Tuki Tuki River to the coastal communities of Haumoana and Te Awanga, offering stunning views over orchards, vineyards, farmlands, and Cape Kidnappers. At the coast, delight in all your indulgent options for wine tastings. Elephant Hill, Clearview Estate, and Te Awanga Estate all offer exceptionally fine wine, plus fantastic food for lunch. After riding, wining, and dining, you'll be collected and transferred back to Ahuriri or your accommodation.
