Brilliant experience I would highly recommend it to anyone
It's totally worth to visit if you're in town. 360 degree view of Gold Coast will give you a wow. Come around 4.30pm for sunset, you can see how beautiful the horizon and city is from high up. Stay for dinner or drinks to see another view of city lights by night which is as well as amazing. Admission fee are $42 for adult including $20 dining voucher and $32 for children below 13YO including $15 voucher. I think it's reasonable since food is very good and large portion, can easily be shared between 2 in 1 serve.

What an amazing place. The work they are doing for the rehabilitation of the wildlife is amazing. If you can afford to do the feeding frenzy we can't recommend highly enough. Miguel, our guide, passion and knowledge of his job made the time we spent there just that much better.
What you can expect
Pay a visit to Tasmania's ever-popular Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary during the day with a general admission ticket and get up close to all of the animal favourites that call the sanctuary home. From wombats and kangaroos to Tasmanian devils, Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary is a haven for recovering and orphaned animals of all shapes and sizes in the region. This great sanctuary is always a hit with the kids as they'll be able to have a face-to-face, fun and educational encounter with native Aussie wildlife. The famously friendly keepers aim to both inform and entertain guests.
With a large mobs of free-ranging kangaroos, as well as a number of species that are now extinct in all other parts of Australian except Tasmania, Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary provides one of the most personal, intimate and enjoyable animal-oriented days out in the state. In addition to exploring the sanctuary on your own, you can also take part in one of the daily guided tours.

- Bonorong has a number of species that are sadly now extinct everywhere but Tasmania
- The Tasmanian devil, the Eastern quoll and the shy Tasmanian bettong
- Make us part of a day trip - within 45 minutes of Bonorong you can find fantastic sites such as the Richmond Bridge, Mt Wellington, the Cadbury Chocolate Factory, Mt Field National Park, the famous Salamanca Market, and many of our internationally recognised wineries and breweries
- Full 45-min wildlife tours take place every day at 10:00am, 11:30am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm. You can see the Tassie devil eat a snack, learn about their quirky personalities as well as some of the threats they face and the efforts to help protect them. They also include the opportunity to meet the wombat and koala and give them a pat
- Open every day of the year including weekends and public holidays (except Christmas Day)
- 25 minutes from Hobart's CBD and just off the A1 directly from Launceston

- Take the A1 (the main highway between Hobart and Launceston) north out of the Hobart city centre.
- When you reach Granton, take the second exit (turning right) at the roundabout and cross over Bridgewater Bridge.
- Continue straight through the roundabout immediately after the bridge (past the fast food restaurant on the left).
- At the next roundabout, take the first exit to turn on to the Brighton Bypass.
- Drive for 3-5 minutes, keeping an eye out for the large sign on the left hand sign reading "Bonorong Wildlife Centre". Take the first exit after you see this sign, staying in the left lane.
- At the T intersection, turn left, following the Bonorong sign. Note: this is now a 60km an hour zone.
- Follow this road around the bend - you will soon see Briggs Road on your left, with a small sign for 'Bonorong Wildlife Park'. Turn left onto Briggs Road.
- Bonorong is approximately 1 kilometre up this road on the left hand side (past the train tracks). Take the driveway up to the main carpark. You've arrived! __Via car from Launceston__
- Follow the A1 (the main highway between Launceston and Hobart), south towards Hobart. The journey from Launceston to Bonorong will take about 2 hours.
- After approximately 170km, you will pass through the town of Mangalore, then come to a large roundabout.
- Take the first exit at the roundabout to stay on the A1 highway.
- As you continue along the highway you will see large information signs indicating an exit to Tea Tree Rd/C321 (and also signs for Bonorong).
- Take this exit off the highway.
- At the intersection, turn right and continue along for approximately 1km until you see a small Bonorong sign directing you to turn left on to Briggs Rd.
- Continue along Briggs Rd, passing over the train tracks, until you see Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary on the left hand side.
- Turn into the driveway and up to the main carpark. You've arrived!

- Family passes are available direct with Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary and are not currently offered by Experience Oz

- General admission pre-purchased tickets are valid for 12 months from date of purchase and cannot be extended
- Please do not print your ticket, the provider is able to view the tickets from your phone and look it up on the database

- This venue is an outdoor, all-weather venue and in the event of inclement weather, it will be open as usual and the daily tours will proceed

A good day out with the grandchildren. Tiring, but well worth the visit.
The grandchildren (aged 2 and 4 years) loved seeing all the animals and especially enjoyed patting and feeding the kangaroos. Grandparents enjoyed the talks and guided tour. Just a pity many of the animals are nocturnal and were asleep and out of sight.
