Starting from Picton, enjoy a boat tour of Queen Charlotte Sound with Beachcomber Cruises, stopping at Ship Cove. This was the historic landing site of Captain Cook in the 1770s, so there is plenty to see before you set off on a scenic walk along the renowned Queen Charlotte Track. As you traverse through lush native forests, you'll be captivated by the stunning vistas of the Marlborough Sounds that unfold before you. This 15-kilometre section of the track is well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant and enjoyable hike for everyone with a moderate fitness level.
After a leisurely walk of approximately five-hours, you'll reach your destination at Furneaux Lodge, a waterside resort at the head of the Endeavor Inlet. Relax and soak in the views or perhaps enjoy a meal in the Furneaux Lodge gardens (own cost), before catching the return boat transfer back to Picton.

- Option to bring your own bike, single or double kayak (additional cost)
- Please note that the Furneaux Lodge is closed for the month of August (pick up point changes to Pines Main Jetty)
- Your return cruise to Picton departs from Furneaux Lodge at 4 - 4:30pm, returning to Picton at approx 5:30 - 6pm
