What you can expect
Climb in to the driver's seat of two different rally cars and enjoy the chance to tackle 16 fast paced laps of the Mount Cottrell Rally School track with this 2 Car Blast experience. With 8 laps performed in each car, you'll love the opportunity to not only experience one high powered, professional rally car, but two! To ensure you can get the most out of this experience, a briefing session will be held before your laps to teach you necessary techniques. To top the experience off, once your 16 laps are over you'll be able to climb in to the passengers seat and perform a lap with a professional rally car driving, enjoy opportunities to get sideways.
A manual drivers licence is required for this pack as all cars are manual transmission. The Mount Cottrell track is located at Melbourne 4x4 Training & Proving Ground, 135 Dukelows Road and is around a 50 minute drive from Melbourne CBD. Unfortunately no public transport frequents the grounds, requiring you to have your own form of transport to access the track. Simply wear some long pants, as well as closed in shoes to avoid burning your feet on the hot car floor and you're ready for 2 hours of fun, adrenaline and dirt action. - Participants must be proficient with a manual transmission
- You and your guests are very welcome to bring your own picnic lunch etc as there is plenty of room at all venues
- There is a height restriction of approx 190cms (6’3”) as you will be wearing a helmet and there is a roll cage fitted in all our cars. There is a weight restriction of 130kgs as you need to fit into a moulded racing seat and harness. If you are both 190cm & 130kg you won't be able to safely fit. We can have taller people sometimes, but you need to be well under 100kg. Call the tour operator if you are uncertain. Final decisions are at the sole discretion of the tour operator
- Your Spectators, guests and cheer squad are welcome! Guests can often purchase their own ‘HotLap’ for $50 (subject to availability on the day) and are able to stay with you in between your driving sessions. They can take photos and video footage of you from beside the track
- No decisions are usually made regarding postponing days until after 7.30am on the day when an inspection of the track is carried out by out team. Please call the operator after 7.30am to see if the day will be running. We will also try and contact each participant to advise if the day is being postponed by SMS
- All changes to the booking require 14 day notice
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
