What you can expect
Discover Melbourne’s boozy past on this spirited city walking tour where you’ll visit three secret bars and laneways.. The tour kicks off at Federation Square with a guided walk through the city zipping in and out of the laneways to unearth the famous Melbourne street art scene.
See Melbourne’s only surviving Banksy artwork and learn how the laneway renaissance began as you hear tales of persecuted barmaids, naughty wine-fuelled parties and a boozy Police Commissioner from the past. With a stop at three secret bars, there is time to give your feet a rest and enjoy a handcrafted cocktail at each venue. At the end of the tour, you'll also receive a mystery gift to celebrate your time with the friendly, local guides.

- Please allow 3.5 hours for the duration of this experience.
- The tour starts at QV Markets, just outside of L Shed. Take Yarra Trams route 109 from Station Pier (Stop 129, Beacon Cove) to Stop 5 (Elizabeth St/ Collins St). Then jump on route 19, 57 or 59 which stop right outside the Market
- Meet your guide at the edge of Princes Bridge, opposite Flinders Street Station, behind Transport Bar. Look out for the black shirt/hoody/jacket (depending on the weather) and our distinctive black, white and pink logo on the left breast.
- This experience is wheelchair accessible
- All guests must be over the age of 18 in order to drink alcohol at licensed venues visited on the tour; photo ID may be required
- This experience can cater for vegans and vegetarians. Please advise at the time of booking
- Smart casual dress and closed toe shoes required
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
