Enjoy a four-course Yarra River dinner cruise and truly soak up Melbourne's glittering skyline. Aboard the Spirit of Melbourne Cruising Restaurant, one of Melbourne's most unique dining experiences, you wind your way along the river past glowing city lights! Taste freshly-prepared food with beverages from alcoholic to soft drinks for the three-hour cruise experience. Witness Melbourne city at night in a whole new way, with expansive windows indoors or step out to the viewing deck under the starry sky.
A tantalising tasting platter kicks off the meal, followed by your choice of mains, including chicken, fish, beef, lamb and a vegetarian option for all tastes. Indulge your sweet tooth with a selection of mini desserts, then cap everything off with a lovely cheese platter consisting of a number of Aussie cheeses, crackers, fruit and nuts. Ideal for both celebrating special occasions or simply for a classy and relaxing night out, this Melbourne dinner cruise is a special way to dine out in the stunning capital of Victoria.

- Tours depart on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays at 7.30 pm and return at 10.30 pm
- Please arrive by 7.15 pm to commence boarding (Late arrival will not be accommodated)
- This experience is three hours in duration.
- This experience departs from Berth 1, Southbank Promenade, Southbank VIC 3006.

- Lamb Kofta served with minted yoghurt (GF)
- Peking Duck on a bed of garden salad (GF)
- Seafood Cocktail dressed in a creamy seafood sauce (GF)
- Main (choice of one per guest)
- Chargrilled Chicken Breast with a porcini mushroom cream sauce, served with potato and seasonal vegetables (GF)
- Baked barramundi fillet, cooked with ginger and lime, dressed in a curried coconut veloute
- Chargrilled Beef Eye Fillet cooked “medium” with a port wine jus, served with potato and seasonal vegetables (GF)
- Portuguese Lamb Shank served upon mash potato with a confit of vegetables (GF)

- Entrée: Ratatouille Filo Parcel served with goats cheese and salad (V)
- Main: Whole Baby Pumpkin filled with a stir fry of seasonal vegetables and quinoa, topped with melted cheese (V) (GF)

- The Cruising Restaurant may sometimes operate on the Yarra Countess and the Yarra Empress, depending on demand, weather, major events, river closures, and tides

Must do for couples and those looking for a night out on the Yarra to experience Melbourne’s CBD beauty. Staff were amazing and accommodated all requests. Professional in ever manner bringing drinks out all night while having a chat about the cruise and city itself. All 3 course meals were perfect and served within a good time which allowed us to experience the top deck and have drinks in between meals. 10/10 would recommend.

The food was very good better than I expected and complimented with unlimited alcohol how could you go wrong? The staff were very attentive and well-mannered. The only fault and this is very minor would be the route we take. Maybe we can’t go the other way on the Yarra and so we have to go that way. But then again that’s a very minor one.

Warm boat on a very cool evening. Terrific service and a great choice of meals. The ambience is great. Good boarding spot and very smooth sailing. Staff accommodated us by taking family photos and were very attentive and careful with the food with two of our party who had coeliac disease.
