What you can expect
Taking you on a scenic journey along the iconic Yarra River, this sightseeing cruise is a definite must-do for visitors to Melbourne looking to explore. Departing Southbank near the CBD, this 2-hour cruise will take you cruising out into Port Phillip Bay en route to Williamstown. This return ferry service is a great option for visitors eager to explore surrounding destinations for the day.
As you venture over to Williamstown, you'll pass a number of the city's great sites including the Crown Casino, Bolte Bridge, Melbourne Star Observation Wheel and Westgate Bridge before taking in the views of Gem Pier at Williamstown. Complete with live commentary, you'll be able to learn all about the attractions you're seeing as you pass them, making this a great scenic and informative trip.
This cruise operates 7 days a week with multiple departure times throughout the day from either end of the journey, however, departure times are tidal dependent so be sure to check directly with the operator, Melbourne River Cruises, if the weather isn't ideal.
