- What should I know about natural hazards when visiting Milford Sound? Piopiotahi Milford Sound is one of the world's most spectacular natural environments, and with that comes some natural hazard risk. While the likelihood of a large earthquake or tsunami occurring during your visit is extremely low, particularly on a short visit, these events can pose a serious risk.
- What should I do in the event of an earthquake or landslide? If you experience an earthquake that feels LONG or STRONG – Get GONE. Move up and away from waterways (the fiord and rivers) as quickly as possible. If you see or hear a landslide, do the same.

I had an enjoyable time on the Milford Sound Scenic Cruise. It was definitely worth the money as the scenery was breathtaking. The cruise was not too crowded and that made the trip a better one. The cruise even went near a waterfall and stopped beside some fur seals. What an experience!
Excellent cruise on the water
Excellent cruise on the water, would have been better if we went further out to sea and we didn't have to listen to the Chinese translation of all the commentary.
