What you can expect
Spend the day on the water with a private four hour family fishing charter from Sorrento, exploring the calm, sheltered waters of Port Phillip Bay. Departing from Sorrento Pier, around an hour and a half from Melbourne, this relaxed trip is built for families, beginners and young anglers keen to drop a line without the fuss. You will head out aboard a big, stable boat with plenty of room to move about, a warm cabin to duck into and an onboard toilet for longer outings.
The friendly crew, all Working With Children Check certified, look after everything from rods and reels to bait and tackle, so all you need to do is enjoy the day. Keep your eyes on the rods, reel in whatever the bay serves up and let the little ones experience the thrill of their first catch. Best of all, your catch is cleaned on board and filleted where time allows, so you may well head home with fresh fish for dinner. It is an easy, hassle free day out on one of Victoria's favourite stretches of water.

- Spectators are not permitted.
- In extreme weather conditions the tour may be cancelled if safety is a concern, you will be contacted by the experience provider and rescheduled.
- Participants with limited mobility or wheelchair requirements, please contact the experience provider prior to booking to discuss suitability.
- Participants must be able to safely board and move around the vessel at sea
- All participants must follow the skipper's safety instructions at all times
- A Victorian Recreational Fishing Licence is required (ages 18–69). Purchase yours online via the Victorian Fisheries Authority.
- After purchasing your voucher, just contact us to book your trip. We'll work with you to choose a date that suits you while also making sure conditions are right for the best fishing experience.
- Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
