What you can expect
Set off from Sorrento on a six hour offshore fishing charter, heading out across Port Phillip Bay or beyond the Heads into Bass Strait in search of snapper, gummy shark, whiting, squid, flathead and seasonal species. With an experienced local skipper choosing the best grounds based on conditions and the bite on the day, you'll spend the morning or afternoon fishing productive waters aboard a large, stable offshore vessel built for comfort and safety.
All the gear you need is taken care of, from rods, reels, bait and tackle to complimentary water and full safety equipment. At the end of the trip, your catch is cleaned on board and filleted where time allows, so there's every chance you'll head home with fresh fish for the table. With small group numbers of up to 12 participants, it's a relaxed, genuine day on the water that makes a memorable gift for any keen angler.

- Minimum of 10 participants required for the experience to depart
- Maximum of 12 participants per charter
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure; the vessel departs on time and cannot wait for late arrivals
- Spectators are not permitted; all on-board passengers must be paying participants
- Children are welcome and must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times
- Participants must be physically capable of boarding and moving safely on a vessel at sea
- Participants under the influence of drugs or excessive alcohol will not be permitted to board
- All participants must follow the skipper's safety instructions at all times
- This experience is weather and sea-condition dependent and may be rescheduled if conditions are deemed unsafe
- A Victorian recreational fishing licence may be required; please check eligibility prior to booking
- For participants with limited mobility or wheelchair requirements, please contact the experience provider prior to booking to discuss suitability
- Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
