Get a buzz out of landing on Tasman Glacier and take a moment to capture a few pictures and absorb the immense beauty surrounding you before heading back to base at Mt Cook Airport.
Select your aircraft The 45 minutes Glacier Highlights is available in both a ski plane or helicopter. You will follow the same flight path and landing sites no matter what aircraft you opt for. The ski plane has the luxury of shutting down the engine at the landing site so you can truly appreciate the serenity and beauty of the alpine environment. - Please note that bookings from April 1st 2026, will incur a $20 Per Person surcharge payable on the day of your booking. Surcharges will be collected directly at check-in, at the base

- Please bring a jacket or warm layers for snow landing, sunglasses and camera
- Infants (0-3yrs) must sit on their parent's lap (seatbelt extension provided)
- Children over 3yrs must have their own seat
- No drones or selfie sticks permitted
- Please note that a minimum of 2 adults is needed to run this flight
- If your flight is cancelled due to bad weather you can reschedule
