What you can expect
Embrace the tranquility of the Murray River on a 4.5 hour self guided paddle and picnic canoe tour suitable for ages 4 years and over. Meet at the Dwellingup Trails and Visitor Centre to collect your safety equipment and canoe before following the guide to the start point.
Navigate the long pools, fast moving channels and small rapids along the forest lined river bank at your own pace. When you start feeling hungry, find a cosy place ashore to enjoy your own picnic lunch or snacks and cool off with a refreshing river swim. After lunch, gently paddle downstream to the finish point where you’ll rendezvous with your vehicle after a relaxing day on Murray River.

- Meander down the Murray River at your own pace
- Get fitted out with your safety equipment and head to the start of the canoe experience
- Paddling downstream stopping along the way for a picnic, flora and fauna spotting and a relaxing swim
- This experience commences at 10.30am and finishes at 3pm
- The duration of this experience is approximately 4.5 hours
- Departs from Dwellingup Adventures, located at 4 Marinup st, Dwellingup, 6213, WA
- In warmer months bathers, shorts and sun protection are recommended
- Long pants/jeans/track suits are never a good idea. Bare legs dry quicker
- Covered footwear is a must
- Avoid thongs or sandals that can slip off as your shoes will get wet
- You will need to bring your own water and food, or you can purchase a picnic package
- Bring a change of clothes that you can leave in your vehicle in case you fall out, it happens now and then
- Ages 4+ can participate
- Minimal fitness level required
- A waiver must be completed
- Maximum weight: 1 person kayak-100kg. 2 person canoe-160kg. 3 person canoe-260kg
- Minimum number: 1; Maximum number: 20
- Spectators may choose to wait at the finish point, enjoying the river and picnic areas

- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
