What you can expect
Start your day above the city with a 45-minute trial flight over Perth, where you’ll climb into a real training aircraft and take the controls with a qualified instructor right beside you.
Your experience begins at the flight academy with a pre-flight safety and manoeuvre briefing, plus a headset and safety equipment before you head to the runway. Once you’re airborne, it’s hands-on from there, with step-by-step guidance as you practise gentle turns, climbs and descents while soaking up sweeping views across the Perth coastline and city.
Designed for first-timers and aspiring pilots, this experience blends practical learning with pure scenery. After landing, you’ll wrap up with a post-flight debrief to talk through what you learned and revisit the standout moments from your time in the pilot’s seat, with a photo opportunity at the end.

- This experience is approximately 90 minutes in duration including a 45 minute flight.
- This experience is located at 4 Compass Road, Jandakot Airport, WA 6164. Public parking is available on site.
- Comfortable weather appropriate clothing
- Closed-toe shoes
- Avoid loose accessories, high heels, bulk jackets and hats
- Participants must be in good general health and able to manage the physical effects of G forces

- Participants who are prone to motion sickness must advise their instructor to tailor the flight profile
- In extreme weather conditions the experience may be cancelled if safety is a concern; you will be contacted by the provider and rescheduled
- Flying under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited
- Ground photos are welcome but loose items cannot be taken into the cockpit
- Participants under 18 years old must obtain written parental consent
- Please notify the experience provider at the time of booking for any special requests
- Participants must be able to understand and act upon/respond to instructions provided in English
- Spectators can watch you take off and land from the launch site
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
