Every year, from September to December, these gentle giants can be sighted frolicking in the waters just off Hillarys Boat Harbour. Join Rottnest Fast Ferries for the close encounter of a lifetime, seeing Humpbacks at play.
You'll enjoy the best possible view of the majestic Humpback Whales from the safety of our large, state-of-the-art passenger vessel. Take advantage of our large open deck space to capture spectacular close up photographs. Snacks are available onboard with licensed bar facilities.

- Whale Watching is seasonal and departs daily at 0900 from late August to November (subject to whale activity). Duration of cruise is approximately two hours.
- Transfers from selected pick up points available - must be prebooked and subject to availability.

- This experience is 2 hours long and departure time is at 9:00am returning 11:00am
- This experience takes place off the coast of Perth. Take the Hepburn Ave exit off Mitchell Freeway and head towards the coast, Hillarys Boat Harbour is at the end. Our bookings office is located on Southside Drive

- Prior to completing your purchase, enter your hotel name in the 'Add Booking Notes' section of the shopping cart. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation tour voucher with complete tour operator details. You will be required to contact the tour operator a minimum of 48hrs prior to your day of travel to reconfirm your hotel pick up time __If you have not yet booked a hotel__

- If you do not require a hotel pick up and will be meeting the tour at the tour departure point, enter the words 'not required' in the 'Add Booking Notes' section of the shopping cart. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation tour voucher with complete tour operator details. You will be required to contact the tour operator a minimum of 48hrs prior to your day of travel to reconfirm your tour. Tour departure point is listed above and on your confirmation tour voucher

- Adult: 13 years old+
- Child: 4-12 years old
- Family: 2 adults and 2 children
- Passengers should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time for check-in
- Concession: Senior and Student - must have a valid ID and card
- Seasonal experience available September through to November
- As whales are wild animals, whale sightings are not guaranteed, however the experienced and attentive crew ensure that you have the best possible chance at finding the whales
- If on any tour whales are NOT sighted, passengers are entitled to go on the next available tour free of charge
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
- Mobile Vouchers are accepted! - Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction

amazing value, great day out watching the pod whales.
amazing value, competitive price, easy to purchase and seamless redemption. great day out, we were able to see many pod whales including calves. there are still rooms to move around on the boat even though it was full. the live audio commentary was also very informative.
