What you can expect
Short on time but keen to experience the Great Barrier Reef? This half-day cruise from Port Douglas is the perfect way to discover the beautiful Low Isles. After a scenic 30-minute cruise, arrive in crystal-clear waters and enjoy two and a half hours exploring the calm reef lagoon.
Join a guided snorkel tour and discover more than 150 varieties of coral and tropical fish, with free time to snorkel or explore the island at your own pace. Non-swimmers can still experience the reef aboard a glass-bottom boat or relax on the beach. Take a walk around the island to see its historic lighthouse, weather station and abundant birdlife.
All equipment is provided, including snorkelling gear, Lycra suits, flotation devices and prescription masks. A complimentary fruit platter, tea and coffee are also served as you cruise through this tropical paradise. Simply bring your sense of adventure and enjoy an unforgettable Low Isles escape.

- Morning tours depart the Reef Marina, Port Douglas at 7.30am and return at 11.30am. Boarding commences at 7.15am

- Please note - We'd like to advise that the reef displays some damage from Cyclone Jasper at the Low Isles plus some freshwater bleaching due to the flooding at the same time as Jasper. There is still coral, plenty of marine life to see as well as still being able to relax on the Island
- This vessel is cash free, sorry for any inconvenience. Please see crew on board should you wish to make a purchase and not have electronic payment available
- Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking

Fabulous
Loved this low key small group tour. Hosts and captain were fun and relaxed and we loved the vibe. They were also informative and able to talk knowledgably about the ecology of the reef and the environmental impacts etc. half day suited us well and the early morning start meant we had the best part of the day to enjoy the experience

Fantastic morning
A quick boat ride, friendly crew and a beautiful island. Being the middle of winter, we were offered wetsuits which really helped getting in the water! The island itself is gorgeous. We did the little walk with one of the crew to see the lighthouse and learn a little of the history...well worth doing! A great half day and home by 11.45am.

Staff were awesome,captain Michael was professional & informative. Metayes was a great guide & knew his stuff. Loved the length of the trip did what we wanted to do & where home by lunch to enjoy the rest of the day. I’ve been to the outer reef & would prefer to do low isle again
