What you can expect
Discover the Great Barrier Reef on a small group snorkelling tour from Port Douglas, with a full 90 minutes in the water at Low Isles Reef. Just 15 minutes after leaving the marina, you tie up at an exclusive mooring, one of only a few at this well protected reef. Sheltered from waves and currents, the clear water of the Coral Sea sets the scene for a relaxed swim over an impressive variety of corals, with fish life in abundance and green turtles swimming nearby.
Want a different view? Hop aboard the glass bottom boat tour and watch the reef pass beneath you. Your snorkelling gear, a wetsuit or stinger suit depending on the season and a bottle of water are all included. With a maximum of 14 people per tour, there is plenty of room to explore. This tour is all about the reef, so there is no island access. Whether you are a keen snorkeller or simply want to see the reef up close, it is a quick and easy way to get in the water.

- Participants must check in 30 minutes before departure
- This experience is approximately two hours and 30 minutes in duration.
- This experience departs from Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina at 44 Wharf Street, Port Douglas, QLD 4877.
- Participants should arrive wearing swimwear and bring a towel, hat, sunscreen, a small bag and snacks if desired.
- Minimum age is 5 years
- Maximum of 14 participants per tour
- This tour visits Low Isles Reef only and does not include island access
- When winds exceed 15 knots, this experience is not suitable for participants who are elderly, frail, pregnant or have back problems
- Departure times may change due to tides
- In extreme weather conditions the tour may be cancelled if safety is a concern, you will be contacted by the provider and rescheduled
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
