What you can expect
Set off on an unforgettable mountain biking adventure through the rainforest of Far North Queensland. After a quick trail briefing, you’ll be fitted with a high-quality dual suspension mountain bike or the option of an e-bike, along with a helmet, gloves, backpack, and a personal location beacon for peace of mind. You'll then be shuttle transported to the trailhead, where your ride begins deep in the rainforest. As you wind through tropical vegetation, you’ll encounter stunning views of the reef and valleys, while spotting a variety of wildlife.
The highlight of the ride is the Bump Track, a legendary two-kilometre descent, with twists, turns, and drops that will have your adrenaline pumping. After the descent, enjoy riding at your own pace past mountain farming areas and into Mowbray Valley, where you might even spot a crocodile basking in the waterways. The GPS maps and turn-by-turn guidance will help you explore these landscapes without getting lost. To round off the adventure, cool off in a mountain creek before heading back, making this ride the perfect mix of nature, excitement, and relaxation.

- Monday to Friday: 9am to 5pm
- Saturday and Sunday: 10am to 3pm
- This experience is approximately six hours in duration.
- This experience departs from Bike Shop and Hire, 3 Warner Street, Port Douglas, QLD 4877.
- Enclosed walking/riding shoes
- Sunglasses and sunscreen
- Trail snacks and water
- Minimum of two and maximum of 20 participants
- Minimum age is five and maximum age is 85 years old
- Not available on Sundays during the yearly low season
- Participants must be capable of riding a mountain bike on uneven terrain
- Mountain biking can be dangerous, by booking, you agree to release the experience provider of all liability
- In extreme weather conditions the tour may be cancelled if safety is a concern, you will be contacted by the provider and rescheduled
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Cancellations within 48 hours of your experience will incur a cancellation fee
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
- Mobile Vouchers are accepted! Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction
