What you can expect

Tour Wildlife Habitat Port Douglas at nighttime with a two-hour exclusive experience to witness and encounter Australian animals with a passionate wildlife keeper. As darkness falls, discover and learn about a range of unique creatures as you visit distinct habitats by torchlight, like the open-air Savannah, Rainforest and Nocturnal habitats. Hear about the sanctuary’s conservation efforts that work towards protecting nature’s precious ecosystems as you spot nocturnal frogmouths, bettongs, lizards and spotted-tailed quolls. Hand-feed friendly kangaroos. Watch native birds get ready for the night.

With a small snack, watch koalas, gliders and local pythons' behaviours as they wake and begin their activities for the night. During a twilight crocodile encounter, watch these powerful creatures at their most active time, dusk. Enjoy a five-day re-entry pass as part of your experience to visit Wildlife Habitat again during the day. Book this one-of-a-kind, after-hours experience in Port Douglas now to connect with these incredible animals.
