What you can expect
Join Port Stephens 4WD Tours on their Beach and Dune with Sandboarding tour to explore Australia's largest moving coastal sand dunes plus try your hand at sandboarding. This tour takes you in a purpose-built 4WD vehicle 2kms down Birubi Beach. Admire the scenery while learning about the local history and learn how to search and find pipis.
Your tour guide will then take you into the sand dunes where it's your chance to have a go at sandboarding. With the help of an instructor, you'll learn how to safely manoeuvre down the dunes by sitting correctly and steering. - Standing up on the sandboard is prohibited. This rule is strict and is set for customer safety
- If you are pregnant, please let our staff know before boarding a 4WD vehicle. Experience is not recommended for pregnant women
- On arrival, a disclaimer must be signed for by everyone over the age of 18, parents/guardian must sign for participants under the age of 18
- Please bring car seat for children under 7 years of age
- Cancellations within 24 hours will incur 100% fee. Cancellations within 24-48 hours incur 50% fee. No cancellation fee with more than 48 hours notice
