This adventure takes riders through rolling valleys, alpine forests, and along thrilling ridge lines, offering spectacular views at every turn. Led by friendly and knowledgeable guides, this trek is ideal for confident riders ready to explore further. With plenty of chances to pause and soak in the scenery, it’s the perfect mix of excitement and relaxation. Along the way, guides will share fascinating insights about the area’s history, wildlife, and local legends, making this a fun and enriching experience for the whole family. This ride is only available to intermediate and experienced riders ONLY.
What you need to know
- Suitable to intermediate and experienced riders only
- Must have atleast 30 hours of riding experience
- 2 hour horse trek at Moke Lake, only available to intermediate and experienced riders
- Helmets and wet weather jackets provided
- This tour is seasonal and operates between September and May
- This experience departs at 9AM
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure.
- Rides will not be held for late arrivals out of respect for other booked guests.
- Please allow 2 hours and 15 minutes for this experience, including a 15 minute check in time

- Long comfortable pants, suitable sturdy closed covered footwear (no large heels, crocs or sandals permitted), sunscreen/insect repellent.
- A water bottle and sunglasses are also recommended.
- A phone or small camera is recommended to capture your memories (your responsibility).
- Minimum age of 12 years old
- All children 16 years old and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
- Maximum weight limit is 85kg
- For the safety of all involved, all clients must understand and be able to communicate in English
- Suitable for intermediate and experienced riders only
- Must have at least 35 hours of experience and be capable of riding a horse at walk, trot and canter over uneven, complex terrain in an uncontrolled environment
- A riding assessment may be done to ensure all participants are suitable. No refunds are offered in the event you are turned away due to a breach in policy.
- Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
- Late arrivals or no-shows will result in forfeiting your experience, and no refunds or reschedules will be offered.
- A riding assessment may be done to ensure all participants are suitable. No refunds are offered in the event you are turned away due to a breach in policy
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at the time of booking
- Upon completion of the purchase, please print the voucher and present it on the day of the experience
