Your journey heads to the stunning Mavora Lakes in Fiordland National Park, where cinematic magic meets unforgettable moments.
Discover which fearless actor famously broke two toes near the edge of Fangorn Forest and relive the dramatic Breaking of the Fellowship as Frodo and Sam take their fateful steps toward Mordor. During the warmer months with longer daylight (1 November – 31 March) this tour also ventures to Manapouri & Te Anau, where you’ll uncover the haunting beauty of the Anduin River and the Dead Marshes.

- This experience departs at 8:30am and returns at 6:30pm

- If you are bringing young children on this trip, please bring something to occupy them, like an iPad, just in case they are not as into the tour as you might be. If you have infants under 3 and would like to arrange a private tour, please contact the tour operator
- Unfortunately, this tour does not cater for people in wheelchairs, as the transportation does not have a specialised lift
- There is some walking involved in this tour on dirt tracks and the like, please wear suitable shoes
- A 45 minute lunch break will be given in Te Anau, lunch at own expense
- Both the Operator and any Agent (including their respective employees, agents, officers and directors) exclude, to the fullest extent possible under law, all and any liability for any loss, damage or injury (whether direct or indirect or consequential, however arising) suffered by the Guest or any person associated with the Guest in relation to the booked activity.
- All activities have elements of risk and all guests undertaking any Activity do so voluntarily and at their own risk. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, all warranties, representations and implied terms are also excluded.
- The Operator reserves all rights to cancel any Activity at its discretion for (but not limited to) any of the following reasons: - waterway, road or weather conditions; - lack of numbers participating in the Activity; - unsuitability of Guest(s) due to reasons such as age, ill health, poor fitness, intoxication or any other reasons rendering a Guest unsuitable or - unfit to participate in the Activity; - any other circumstances which are beyond the reasonable control of the Operator.
- All Guests agree to adhere to any instructions in relation to the Activity from the Operator at all times.
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hoursof your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
- Mobile Vouchers are accepted! - Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction
