Enjoy a 90-minute of fun filled zipline adventure in Queenstown. Perfect for families, first-time zipliners, and anyone young at heart, this guided experience combines excitement, stunning scenery, and fascinating insights into New Zealand's natural environment.
Your adventure begins at the Skyline complex on Bob's Peak, where you'll meet your experienced guides and get fitted with all the necessary safety equipment. From there, you'll soar across four ziplines that gradually increase in length, height, and speed, allowing riders to build confidence while taking in spectacular views of Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu, and the surrounding mountains.
Along the way, knowledgeable guides share stories about the local forest ecosystem and conservation efforts, adding an educational element to the adventure. Suitable for a wide range of ages and experience levels, this experience offers the perfect balance of fun, scenery, and light adventure, creating unforgettable memories for families and groups visiting Queenstown.

- The Skyline Gondola pass is not included in this experience.

- Check-in time is 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure time
- Please allow 60 minutes from the base of the Gondola to the Ziptrek Tree-house
- Pick Up / Opening Ziptrek Treehouse (Top of Gondola) 10:40am; 2pm; 4pm
- Drop Off / Closing Ziptrek Treehouse (Top of Gondola) 12:40pm; 4pm; 6pm
- The tour ends back at the Ziptrek treehouse

- Can I watch the tour?
- Guests will have the ability to accompany their friends and family to the Ziptrek Guest Services Tree-house. Once guests have checked in, there will not be an option for spectators to view the tour
- Can I bring a backpack?
- You will not be able to bring a backpack or any other baggage on tour with you. You will be wearing a full body harness and backpacks will interfere with this harness. We recommend you leave your personal belongings at your hotel or at our camp street booking office in town. A small item storage however is available at the Tree-house
- Can I bring a camera?
- Yes, if you have a camera or small video recording device you can bring it with you. We recommend they have a wrist or neck strap so that you can attach it to yourself when zipping
- Can I go on Ziptrek if I am pregnant?
- Pregnant guests may not participate in Ziptrek tours for their own safety and the safety of their unborn child
- As it is a few degrees cooler in the forest, we recommend that you dress with warm layers and for the conditions of the day. During the winter months, gloves, hats and warm coats are recommended
- Closed toe footwear is essential on both tours
- If you have a camera or small video recording device you can bring it with you
- The minimum age to participate in a Ziptrek tour is 6 years of age
- The minimum weight limit to participate in a Ziptrek Ecotour is 30kg (65lbs)
- Guests under 30kg (65lbs) may zip tandem with a guide on the Moa 4-Line tour only
- The maximum weight of a guest is 125kg (275lbs)
- Children (6-14yrs) must be accompanied on tour by a parent of guardian (someone at least 15 years of age)
- Tours include light stair climbing and trail walking. Guests must be able to walk unassisted
- Ziptrek's Guest Services Tree-house is situated just past the Helipad, 100 metres to the left of the Skyline Gondola Upper Terminal
- Please note no vehicle access to Ziptrek Treehouse
- Minimum age is six years old
- Maximum weight is 125 kilograms
- There is no minimum weight, smaller participants may ride tandem with their guide
- Participants younger than 15 years old must be supervised by a guardian, those younger than 18 require a guardian signature on their waiver
- Minimum of two and maximum 10 participants
- Study closed toe footwear is required
- In extreme weather conditions the tour may be cancelled if safety is a concern, you will be contacted by the provider and rescheduled
- Spectators are permitted but will need to purchase their own gondola pass
- Small item storage is available
- Please advise your preference for a morning or afternoon session at the time of booking
- Please advise of any recent injuries or medical conditions at the time of booking
- Participants with heart and health conditions should consult a physician prior to booking
- Guest must be able to walk unassisted
- Pregnant guests are not allowed to participate
- This experience is wheelchair accessible, please contact the experience provider directly in advance
- Change your booking up to 72 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 72 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
- Mobile Vouchers are accepted! - Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction

This was one of the trip highlights for me! It was fun, informative and the guides were super friendly. I would go back to NZ just to do this again.

If my mum can do this, anyone can! This was a great way to end our stay in Queenstown. The staff were super kind, reassuring & entertaining. I wish we continued on to the 6 lines (World's Steepest) but regardless 4 lines were a good amount. Only downside (and out of their control) is the temperature, take layers! Would definitely do this again, thanks guys!
