Take off from Moffat Beach in Caloundra and glide to Rainbow Beach, a spectacular paragliding site with golden sand and lush sub-tropical rainforest. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing sightseeing flight or a high-energy adventure, we’ve got you covered. You can also choose between a 20 minute or 40 minute flight and enjoy breathtaking views of stunning landscapes and capture the moment with five in-flight photos included in your package.

- Our flying season runs from September to April, and tandem flights are available year-round but with reduced scheduling during the off-season.
- The duration of a tandem paragliding flight varies depending on weather conditions and the specific package you choose.
- On average, flights can last anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes.
- Instructions for your departure location can be found in your conformation email to be received a few days before.
- Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather conditions on the day of your flight
- Closed-toe shoes are recommended
- All necessary safety equipment, including helmets and harnesses is provided
- Please avoid wearing dresses for the flight
- Passengers may carry their cameras at their own risk, securely attached via a lanyard
- Helmet cameras are not allowed
- The sport of paragliding is weather-dependent
- Primary concern is passenger safety, and flights may be postponed or rescheduled if weather conditions are unsuitable
- SEQ Paragliding is not liable for transportation costs under any circumstances
- Participants must be at least 10 years old and weigh between 30kg and 130kg
- Minimum passenger weight: 20kg
- Maximum passenger weight: 130kg
- Passengers need a basic level of fitness, similar to that required for driving a car
- Minimum tandem passenger age: 10 years with parental/legal guardian consent
- No maximum age limit
- Minimum age for paragliding course participation: 14 years with parental/legal guardian consent
- Minimum age to obtain a paragliding pilot certificate: 15 years
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
