What you can expect
Soar over Benalla and the rolling countryside of Northeast Victoria on a scenic glider flight, climbing to 2,000 feet behind a mighty tow plane before releasing into smooth, silent flight. With a friendly, qualified instructor in the back seat, you can relax and take in the views across the region, or have a go on the controls and discover what it feels like to fly a glider yourself.
Weather permitting, you might catch a thermal and gain a little extra height in the still country air. Benalla is the gateway to Northeast Victoria and the Alpine region, so your flight makes an easy start to a weekend of exploring. Back on the ground, family and friends are welcome to come close to the gliders, listen in on your briefing and snap a few photos as you climb aboard. It is a relaxed, memorable way to see this corner of Victoria from a whole new angle.

- This experience is up to two hours in total, including up to 15 minutes of flight time.

- Sunglasses

- A small brimmed hat

- Warm clothing during winter
- Minimum age is 8 years
- Maximum height is 198cm
- Maximum weight is 100kg
- Participants must be able to get in and out of the glider themselves or with a little assistance
- Very tall participants may find it difficult to fit into the glider
- There is no wheelchair access into the glider, however participants of all ages can be lifted in and out with the help of family and friends
- Participant changes are permitted with 72 hours notice so insurance cover can be transferred to the new participant
- Groups of 4 are available on most days, with 4 to 8 or more by special arrangement
- Family and friends are welcome to watch from the ground
- In extreme weather conditions the tour may be cancelled if safety is a concern, you will be contacted by the provider and rescheduled
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
