What you can expect
Discover what it feels like to breathe underwater on a two hour introductory scuba dive at Bushrangers Bay in Bass Point Reserve. Your day starts at home with online theory, completed before you arrive so there is nothing standing between you and the water. Friendly staff greet you at the dive centre, then your experienced instructor takes you through the basic skills every new diver needs before you head into the bay. Once you are under, a different world opens up.
Blue gropers drift in close, schools of fish shimmer across the reef and grey nurse sharks are sometimes seen in the deeper water, though as these are wild animals sightings can never be guaranteed. With a maximum of four divers in the group you get plenty of personal attention, and all equipment is provided apart from your own mask and snorkel. Running on the last Sunday of each month, it is an easy and memorable introduction to diving, so pack your swimmers and a towel and get in early.

- This experience meets at the dive centre at 1/239 Windang Road, Windang, NSW 2528, before travelling to the dive site at Bushrangers Bay, Bass Point Tourist Road, Shell Cove, NSW 2529.
- Participants must bring their own mask and snorkel
- Comfortable swimwear
- A towel
- Bookings are essential
- Minimum age is 15 years
- Participants under 18 years must be accompanied by a full paying parent or guardian
- A waiver must be signed by a parent or guardian for participants under 18 years
- Participants must advise the experience provider of any major medical issues or procedures at the time of booking
- Participants must complete a medical questionnaire and meet all requirements
- Participants must complete the online theory at home before the dive day
- Participants must be able to swim
- Participants must weigh less than 120kg
- This is a small group experience with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 participants
- Transport is not provided and participants must self drive to the dive centre and to the dive site
- This experience runs on the last Sunday of each month
- Marine life sightings cannot be guaranteed as these are wild animals
- In extreme weather conditions the tour may be cancelled if safety is a concern, you will be contacted by the provider and rescheduled
- Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
