What you can expect

Come to Sydney Fish Market and dive into the biggest seafood market in the Southern Hemisphere like a true local. On this fun, behind the scenes two-hour guided tour, you’ll join a passionate Seafood Educator who brings the market’s history to life and shows you how the famous Dutch auction clock keeps the action ticking along. You’ll step onto the live auction floor and feel the buzz as the day’s freshest catch is traded right before your eyes.

Get up close to an incredible variety of seafood, from wriggling crabs and lobsters to mighty tuna, and learn what makes top-quality sashimi shine. Watch oysters shucked at lightning speed, wander through specialist seafood shops and discover how over 100 species arrive daily from Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific. It’s a hands-on, eye-opening experience that’s as educational as it is exciting - perfect for curious kids and grown-ups alike.
