What you can expect
Discover Manly by land and water with this Manly Snorkel, Walk and Talk Tour. With your first initial meet and greet at Shelly Beach, you'll enjoy a guided snorkel of beautiful Cabbage Tree Bay Aquatic Reserve discovering the depths surrounding Manly as well as a guided walk along the headland. With snorkel hire, wetsuit or vest hire and flippers all included in the price, all you need to pack is your swim suit and you're set. Foam floating noodles are also provided for safety reasons.
Here you can discover different marine species including those that are endangered, learn the importance of these reserves, and simply enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings Manly offers. As well as your snorkelling session, you'll travel the headland nature walk in search of local wildlife. Boasting a number of magnificent lookouts offering unbeatable views, your eyes are in for a real treat!

What you need to know
- Meet and greet at Shelly Beach
- Guided Snorkel of Cabbage Tree Bay Aquatic reserve (Shelly Beach)
- Snorkel hire
- Wetsuit and/or vest hire
- Flippers hire
- Foam floating noodles for safety provided for all customers
- Available daily at 9:30am and 1pm
- Arrive 10 minutes before tour start time to check in and find meeting spot. Late arrivals will miss the tour and be considered as a no show
- This experience is 2.5 hours in duration including a headland walk, safety talk and how to use equipment brief and marine interpretation and snorkel
- This experience takes place in Shelly Beach, Manly, NSW.
- Please wear comfortable shoes for the walk and swimwear for the snorkel.
- You may also want to bring a towel, hat, water and sunscreen.
- This tour runs with a maximum of 8 people and minimum 2 people.
- There is a nice cafe at Shelly Beach called the Boat House and seats near waters edge for spectators
- In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless deemed unsafe. If the tour is cancelled you will be notified up to 2hrs before tour start time. Check email a few hrs prior to tour time.
- Customers must complete an Online Pre Check In Form and inform guide of any medical conditions. Please complete before arrival.
- Must be able to swim 150 meters unassisted, float and tread water
- Participants between the ages of 8 and 12 require parental supervision on tour in the water
- Your health and safety is important - If you are pregnant unfortunately you are not permitted to come on the tour. If you have any medical issues please get your doctors approval and clearance letter if required
- Drink water before the tour and apply sunscreen
- All you belongings will be stored in our vehicle while on tour. Please ensure you have all your belongings secure in your bag to avoid forgetting any items when you leave.
- All activities undertaken at own risk. You cannot participate if you are pregnant you or have medical issue which requires doctors clearance letter.
- Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the tour

What a gorgeous location! The guide was very friendly and extremely informative about the local area and wildlife, and his passion for the ocean was evident. The nature walk was very informative and a nice easy walk. The snorkel off Shelly Beach and in the Crab Tree Aquatic Reserve was amazing! Such beautiful aquatic wildlife, professional and safety concious. I highly recommend this experience for anyone wanting something a bit different.
