Kick off an epic family snow day as the kids dive into their very first ski adventure in the Snowy Mountains, with easy transfers from Sydney. Designed for young first-timers aged seven to 14, this easygoing day trip takes care of the details so you can soak up the fun together. With return coach transfers, a warm brekkie on the way and all gear included, it’s a stress-free way to introduce the magic of snow.
Hit the slopes with confidence as expert instructors guide the kids through a dedicated three-hour beginner lesson, building skills in a safe and supportive setting. With everything covered, including lift passes, Ski Tube rides and National Park entry, families can focus on laughs, learning and fresh mountain air. - Day one:
- 10.45pm – Pick up from Sydney Central Station, Western Forecourt (Coach Bays 6 to 9)
- 11.30pm – Pick up from Parramatta Westfield (corner of Church Street)
- Day two:
- 6.30am to 7.00am – Arrive at Bullocks Flat Terminal. Enjoy a breakfast snack before getting fitted with your included ski jacket, pants and equipment, including skis, boots, poles and helmet
- Depart via Ski Tube to Perisher
- 10.00am – Begin your three-hour beginner lesson at Perisher Ski School with professional instructors, building skills and confidence in a supportive environment
- After the lesson, enjoy free time for skiing or snow play
- 2.00pm – Return via Ski Tube to Bullocks Flat Terminal and hand back equipment
- 2.30pm – Depart Bullocks Flat for the return journey to Sydney
- 6.00pm – Dinner stop in Goulburn (own expense)
- 10.00pm – Drop off at Parramatta Westfield
- 10.30pm – Final drop off at Sydney Central Station
- This is a seasonal experience operating during the winter season, from June to September.
- 10.45pm or 11.30pm (the night prior) departure, depending on location
- 10am sharp to 1pm lesson
- Please allow at least 15 minutes for child drop-off prior to lesson start time
- This is a full-day experience, approximately 24 hours in duration, including transfers and breaks.
- This experience departs from Sydney Central Station, 8–12 Eddy Avenue, Haymarket, NSW 2000, or Parramatta Westfield, 159–175 Church Street, Parramatta, NSW 2150.
- Child participants must be between seven and 14 years old
- Bookings must be made at least three days prior to the lesson date
- Lessons are limited and subject to availability
- Kids' ski lessons are located at Perisher Ski School; lessons are in a group environment
- Perisher may, due to adverse weather/business conditions, change the location and time of the lesson at short notice
- If you’re booking a Kids Ski Lesson, please add the family surname to the Booking Comments section to ensure everyone in your group is seated on the same coach
- Minimum passenger numbers apply for the tour to operate
- Pickup times vary by season; confirmation details are emailed one day prior to departure
- Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
