Location

The Sydney SKYWALK is a unique walk above the iconic Sydney Tower Eye, the tallest building in Sydney, Australia. If you're after an adrenaline rush that takes you to the same height as the Eiffel Tower, then this is an experience for you. Witness the unbelievable views of the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Bondi Beach to the Blue Mountains, 360 degrees and beyond. Once suited up you will be harnessed to an external platform before you take the first step out on the "glass" walkway!

If you do have a fear of heights, it is best to inform your Skyguide to ensure you feel safe and secure during the tour

You are required to arrive 45 minutes prior to your scheduled SKYWALK start time. Please allow approximately 90min for your total SKYWALK experience

FAQs

How old do I need to be to do a SKYWALK?

SKYWALK participants must be 10 years and over. Children are classed as 10-15yrs old for SKYWALK and all CHILD guests must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children under 10yrs of age or 90cm tall are not permitted on the SKYWALK. One adult per child is required if the child is 10yrs of age, and one adult per three children is required for children aged between 11-17yrs old

If I book a SKYWALK online, when should I turn up?

Please pre-book a timeslot before arriving
All pre booked guests need to arrive 45 minutes before your allocated start time. Late arrivals will likely result in your experience being forfeited as we have limited spots available throughout the day

How often does SKYWALK run?

SKYWALK run daily at 12:00pm, 1:00pm, 2:00pm, 3:00pm, 4:00pm & 5:00pm
The experience lasts for 1 hour
Operating hours are subject to change without notice

Can I have an alcoholic drink before doing a SKYWALK?

Participants should not be under the influence of drugs (legal or illegal) or alcohol. To comply with operating regulations, all SKYWALK participants have to undergo a breath test and should have a blood alcohol reading of below 0.05%. Participants who have a reading of 0.05% or above will not be permitted to participate in the SKYWALK and no refunds will be given

Are there any health requirements I should know about before doing a SKYWALK?

Participants must sign a declaration form that states they do not suffer from any medical conditions that prevent you or any other participants from comfortably and safely completing the SKYWALK

Can I take my camera on the SKYWALK?

Due to operating regulations, loose items such as mobile phones, cameras and camcorders are not permitted on the SKYWALK. Free lockers are provided to keep your valuables secure. Our SKYGUIDES are trained and authorised to take photographs of guests on the SKYWALK, and guests can view and purchase photographs upon completion of the SKYWALK

Do I need to wear special clothing?

Regulations require enclosed shoes with no open toes. Shoes should be flat, non-slip and offer support and grip. All SKYWALK guests are also required to wear an all-in-one jump suit, which will be provided during the pre-walk safety briefing. Guests need to wear pants or shorts, no dresses or skirts. Participants with prescription glasses and sun-glasses will be provided with an attachment to secure them

Does the weather affect SKYWALK?

SKYWALKS run in all weather conditions, except electrical storms and extremely high winds. Wet weather return passes will be issued in the event of an extreme weather event that causes the closure of SKYWALK

Photo ID check is required upon Skywalk check in and must match the name provided on declaration form

Minimum of two people per booking
You cannot take any personal items on the SKYWALK (including phones, cameras, GoPros etc), lockers are available for your use
Professional photos are available for purchase at the completion of your SKYWALK
All participants must pass an alcohol breath test

Child tickets are for ages 10-15 years

Cancellation Policy

Any changes within 72 hours of the experience would incur a $45 per person rescheduling fee
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

You are required to select a date and time for your visit when making your online purchase
Pre-purchased tickets are only valid for the date you have selected upon purchase. If presenting a ticket on a date other than the date you have selected, additional fees may apply or admission denied
Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on the day of entry

Our guides, Mike and Jake, were very knowledgeable and ensured that everyone was able to relax, enjoy the views and immerse themselves in the entire experience. Loved every second of it!

A spectacular bucket-list must-do experience when visiting Sydney.

The experience was really good. We booked at 5pm and were very lucky to see a beautiful sunset from the top of the Sydney Tower.

The experience was really good. We booked at 5pm and were very lucky to see a beautiful sunset from the top of the Sydney Tower. Whilst on top of the Tower, the guide gave us a good overview of the highlights of what we could see. Good value for money. This experience is highly recommended.

Sydney Skywalk was done on a beautiful but windy day

Sydney Skywalk was done on a beautiful but windy day. Organised when we got there and helpful in putting on our harnesses and explaining rules and safety. Guide Matt was relaxed, funny and informative in his knowledge of landmarks and suburbs. Photos were a bit disappointing as you could only buy the booklet for $50 and not individual photos. We only liked and wanted one photo and others had my eyes closed in some. Overall a fun and adventurous tour to see Sydney for its glory. Great views and worth the deal to buy two tickets for one.

Best birthday present ever

Best birthday present ever! I went here for my 20th and it was absolutely amazing. Before the actual climb, we went around the inside of the Eye, and whilst having seen it before, it did not fail to impress. Actually being outside though was absolutely breath taking. Windy but super refreshing and being able to see Sydney from such a high point was awesome. The tour guide was funny, informative and interactive with the group as to not have people feel bored or awkward. You'd think that 45 minutes would be super long and dragged out but it went by quickly, which was great. You really feel like you get your money's worth on this trip. This is probably just wishful thinking but it would have been great if the photo pack was included in the deal, otherwise Experience Oz allowed me to get the cheapest price I could find for me and my boyfriend. Definitely going to purchase a ticket for the Queensland climb from here again. Overall, this experience is both relaxing and filled with so much awe. My boyfriend's uncomfortable with heights but he just could not deny that view.

We had an awesome time

We had an awesome time! We were out in the platforms for over an hour with a sweetheart if a guide. It was funny, informative and breathtaking at once. Totally recommendable, especially with the guide called Jerome! Would do it again at any time!

The Sydney skywalk is a must do

The Sydney skywalk is a must do! It has the best veiws of Sydney, from the harbour bridge, opera house, Sydney city, manly, Bondi and even kings cross. What a way to get your Sydney bearings!Friendly staff, easy to book and we left with a big smile!

Nothing better than checking out the entire city at sunset while up 300 meters in the air and hanging outside

Nothing better than checking out the entire city at sunset while up 300 meters in the air and hanging outside. The views were magnificent, the instructor great and the kick of adrenaline was a bonus. Safety was number 1 priority and was a slight history lesson while sights were pointed out. A great hour adventure.

It was such an amazing experience

I booked Sky walk for my son and his girlfriend to do for his 21st present from me along with dinner at Sydney tower and a night accommodation

I booked Sky walk for my son and his girlfriend to do for his 21st present from me along with dinner at Sydney tower and a night accommodation. I rang to confirm on friday and asked the guy if it still goes ahead in the rain. The guy said yes it does. Their dinner reservation was booked for 5:15 and their Sky walk booking was booked for 7, but had to be there at 6:30. My son text me after 5:30 and said they were still on the que to be seated for dinner and it was packed. So they got in there late, then had to be at Sky walk by 6:30. When they got to Sky walk they were informed it was cancelled. I'm extremely disappointed as if I knew it was going to be cancelled I would've rebooked everything for another weekend. Not only that they pretty much wasted their time going into the city to find this was cancelled but they even rushed their buffet dinner that cost me $85 each and were seated late only to find Sky walk was cancelled and they couldve stayed at the buffet dinner longer IF they at least had of known it was cancelled. I don't understand why if things like this is cancelled that is pre booked and paid for why you don't notify us by text to inform us. Extremely disappointed and would never recommend you to anyone else. Then I get this email asking how my experience was at Sky Walk. What a bad first time experience.
