very nice and friendly.. food was very good and there was plenty of it.
it was amazing, food was good crew were friendly. Only thing I would say is it started later than 7:30 and went back at 9 so we didn’t get to enjoy a full 1.5 hours as promised otherwise all good and nice. it was only a small buffet but it had all the basics
The cruise experience was really good and really good buffet
Very good experience and good buffet with a complimentary drink on welcome. Good views of Harbour Bridge and Opera house in Vivid 2023. They had a good dining area to enjoy dinner while on the cruise and really good staff who guided us throughout our journey.
This winter, you’ll be warmly welcomed aboard this Sydney Vivid dinner cruise for a voyage on the Sydney Harbour to witness the magical Vivid lights display, indulge in a mouth-watering buffet meal and sip on a complimentary welcome beverage.
The world’s largest festival of light, sound and colour will return to Sydney from 23 May - 14 June 2025 and a vivid cruise is a wonderful way to marvel at the incredible art installations and bold colours that are projected onto iconic landmarks and the city skyline. Sydney will transform into a masterpiece of art and this Vivid buffet dinner cruise is a great way to experience it all while enjoying a delicious hot buffet dinner feast and one free drink.

The whole experience was a rush from getting a drink, to getting food, eating and off the boat.
Our food and drinks spilling and nearly falling off the table. During eating time, especially on a choppy night, the boat should not be moving or at least slowing down, stand still preferred, so people can enjoy eating the meal than having food barely being able to put in their mouth properly and holding onto the plate tightly. My son was sea sick too because of the bumpy ride during eating so he spent the last 45 minutes in the toilet. Instead of comforting my son who refused to come out of the toilet (as he didn't want to risk throwing up in public and putting other passengers off), the least the crew member (asian lady) can do is to comfort him nicely but the comment I received was, "He needs to get out so other people can use the toilet," even though there were other cubicles available and there was no line up to the toilet at all. Surely, other passengers will understand if there is a sick child in the toilet. With the constant nagging, I had to take him out and sat him next to the door to ensure he is ok with the other passengers comforting 'it's ok' instead. Also, the whole vivid light experience was disappointing. There were no lights to see, except for city lights, besides from a bit of flickering lights from the Harbour Bridge and Opera House which is far away. This is false advertising for weekdays! It was an embarrassment to take my overseas friends on this cruise, gloating about Vivid Sydney lights and how beautiful it would be on the boat instead, which turned out was better seen by foot instead. Bottom line, this is the first time and last time going on this buffet cruise. My friends will no longer be considering booking theirs as I told them it was horrible!. Sadly, not one crew member even bothered to ask my son how he was feeling while getting off the boat. It was purely just money making machine to get the next batch on. A full disappointment!
Food isn't great, but go for the amazing views and the fun experience of being on a cruise.
For the price, I can't complain too much. The food was meh, nothing special, only allowed 20 mins to take advantage of the all-you-can-eat option which is not ideal, especially if you're one of the last tables to get your food and the quantities were barely enough for everybody. However, the views of the city were absolutely incredible!! Being able to see the city from a distance on the other side of Circular Quay definitely made it a worthwhile try. 1.5hr is plenty of time for this cruise experience.
