Discover the magic of Vivid during an interactive Sydney night photography workshop taking you into the heart of the city from 23 May to 14 June 2025. Learn to capture the magic of the colourful Vivid light extravaganza on your own camera with a lesson from an award-winning photographer.
Whether you’re a beginner or serious photographer, this course will guide you through how to use the settings on your camera to snap incredible images of the city skyline during Vivid Sydney. Class sizes are kept small so that you can receive personalised attention to get amazing results.
Participants must bring their own camera, lenses, tripod and memory cards in preparation for this interactive photography workshop.

Time
- Please allow three hours for this experience
- This experience is only available for the duration of Vivid Sydney - 23 May to 14 June 2025
- Available nights at specified dates from 6pm
Departure Location
- This experience takes place in Circular Quay, Sydney, NSW. The meeting point is near the Opera House. You will be emailed directly by the experience provider to confirm the location and be given full session details.
Additional Information
- The nature of Vivid Sydney means that is can be very difficult to change bookings or offer other places if a course is cancelled due to heavy rain
- Courses will run in rainy conditions provided it is safe to do so. A course will only be cancelled when the weather conditions make it impossible to run the course
- Special instructions will be given to participants in case of rain to protect your equipment. Participants are advised to bring weather protection for themselves and their equipment where necessary
- Non attendance due to sickness or a Covid positive result will normally result in a forfeiture of your booking
Terms And Conditions
- Participants MUST bring a camera, lenses, tripod, fully charged battery, multiple memory cards, rain protection (if needed)
- Participants should be aware that there is some walking with their equipment involved
- No age restriction but participants under 16 years must gain prior approval from the experience provider
- Available only during Vivid Sydney 23 May to 14 June 2025
- No restrictions but participants must be able to walk for three hours and carry their own equipment
Cancellation Policy
- Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
