What you can expect

Set off on a 30-minute scenic flight over the Bay of Plenty and its most iconic landmark, Mount Maunganui. Departing from Tauranga, you’ll have sweeping views of golden beaches, turquoise waters, and green headlands. Your friendly pilot will share local stories and fascinating insights into the region’s geography and culture as you trace the curve of the coast. Look down to spot surfers along Main Beach and boats drifting through the harbour.

As you soar higher, the horizon stretches across the Pacific Ocean. Take in the beauty of Matakana Island’s untouched shoreline and, on a clear day, see Mount Ruapehu, White Island, and the Coromandel Peninsula in the distance. This short but spectacular flight is perfect for those wanting to see the Bay of Plenty from a new perspective. Perfect for locals rediscovering their home or visitors eager to experience New Zealand’s coastal charm.
