Departing from the lakeside base, the journey begins over Lake Te Anau and the famous Great Walk Trail. As you approach the Kepler Mountains, breathtaking views of the Hidden Lakes come into view. This scenic Te Anau flight will land at a mountain tarn allowing you a moment to appreciate the grandeur of the Main Divide and Fiordlands and take a breath of fresh alpine air.
Return to the helicopter for one last flyover of the Te Anau alpine scenery before touching back down in Te Anau after a splendid aerial tour of this spectacular corner of New Zealand.

- This flight is available from Monday to Sunday.
- This experience is 30 minutes in duration.
- This experience takes place in Fiordland, NZ.
- This experience is located at Southern Lakes Helicopters, 79 Lakefront Drive, Te Anau.
- Sturdy shoes, pants, and a light jacket
- Wearing warm layers is a good idea since it can be a little colder up in the mountains at our landing location but nice and warm inside the helicopter
- There are no age restrictions however, any children under four will travel for free on parents lap and safety belts are provided
- Children over four legally require their own seat
- Full names and weights of all passengers prior to boarding the aircraft are required
- Minimum numbers do apply - two persons per flight - subject to aircraft availability
- You can watch the aircraft take off however space in office is limited
- The pilots make a weather call each morning. Passengers are welcome to call the office for an update
- Most of the flights are wheelchair accessible
- The number of passengers and weight will determine the most the suitable aircraft
- There are no age restrictions however, any children under four will travel for free on parent's lap and safety belts are provided
- Children over four legally require their own seat
- There are no additional fees if rescheduling the flight as long as this is done more than 48 hours prior. if rescheduling is done on our behalf within 48 hours due to any unforeseen circumstances you will not be charged.
- We require the full names and weights of all passengers prior to boarding the aircraft, if there are any changes to passengers we do need to be notified as soon as possible
- Minimum numbers do apply - two persons per flight - subject to aircraft availability, but we will always do our best to combine bookings in order to accommodate our customers
- All our flights are shared with others. If you would prefer to book an exclusive flight, please let us know at the time of booking and we will confirm the cost with you. The number of passengers and weight will determine the most the suitable aircraft
- We do our best to accommodate everyone so please have a chat with our friendly team in the office for further information about this. Most of our flights are wheelchair accessible
- Standard Scenic flights
- if your cancellation is due to unforeseen circumstances and:
- More than 48 hours notice is given, no payment will be taken from your card.
- Less than 48 hours notice is given, a 50% payment will be taken from your card.
- If no notice is given and you do not show up for your flight, 100% payment will be taken from your card.
- Exclusive charter/group bookings
- require a 20% deposit to confirm.
- If bookings are cancelled within 7 days of departure the full fare will be billed.
- All deposits are deducted from final payments and are not an additional charge.
- All deposits are NON REFUNDABLE from the time of payment unless a flight is cancelled due to weather conditions on the day.
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
- Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction
