Easy access combined with large fish and outstanding natural beauty make the Lake Tekapo Canals one of the most popular freshwater fishing spots in New Zealand, offering anglers the opportunity to bag the catch of a lifetime. Trout weighing more than 4.5kg are common, while larger Trout weighing 10-13kg do get caught occasionally. The Canal Salmon weigh in between 1-4kg. - Free complimentary shuttle to and from the office and the Lake Tekapo Canal
- Warm Down Jackets
- This experience departs at 6 am and returns at 7 pm
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your departure time

- We recommend that you wear sturdy enclosed warm footwear
- Please dress for the weather conditions on the day
- Minimum age for this experience is 8 years
- Maximum of four guests on each tour
- Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
- Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
